The Folsom Lake Community Concert Association is devoted to bring concerts of the highest quality to the Sacramento Region and in addition to bringing music to students,  college scholarships and music to seniors in assisted living.

In 1994, a group of Folsom residents interested in the performing arts formed the first Board of Directors of a fledgling concert association. Out of their interest and willingness to serve their community has grown the Folsom Lake Community Concert Association (FLCCA). Today, in partnership with Live on Stage of Nashville, TN our talented artist provider and booking agent , the FLCCA continues its dedication to bringing concerts of the highest quality to the Sacramento Region . In addition to the artists from Live on Stage, the FLCCA contracts with local talent to provide a diversified genre of music for their patrons and guests.

We do more than provide diverse quality talent at affordable prices .We strive to Introduce young people to the enjoyment of diverse forms of music in several ways.

Our outreach to schools

In the past we were able to sent professional musicians to our local schools to introduce our student population to the various forms of music and performers. Today it is more difficult for schools to find time in their busy schedules to have the performers come to their schools. We will be searching new ways to reach out to these young people. We will seek out after school programs and other programs to reach our students.

College Scholarships

Each year, the Folsom Lake Concert Association offers scholarships to local graduating seniors who plan to continue their musical education in college. Plus we present these students to Live On Stage for additional scholarship support.

Our Outreach to seniors in assisted living and memory care facilities
The number of seniors who reside in assisted living facilities and memory care facilities is growing rapidly. Many of these seniors find it difficult or impossible to get to live concerts . The FLCCA has as it mission to bring professional musicians to these facilities , especially facilities that have a very limited budget for musical performances.

Music in memory care facilities

Time and time again we have witnessed that music in memory care facilities means more that entertainment to the residents. Music often reaches into the minds of these residents and bring back wonderful memories of their past . We have witnessed how residents who have stopped talking , start to sing along with the music.
